At Taj Chiu Coaching and Consulting, your privacy matters. As a certified coach, I’m committed to protecting your personal information and honoring the trust you place in our work together. This policy explains how I collect, use, and safeguard your information, in alignment with the ICF Code of Ethics.

I collect personal information that you provide directly to me, including but not limited to:

• Your name
• Contact information (email, phone number, etc.)
• Relevant personal, family, or professional details you choose to share
• Coaching session notes and progress reflections

2. How I Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Provide and improve coaching services
• Communicate with you about sessions, scheduling, and follow-ups
• Keep records of our work together, when helpful for your journey
• Meet any applicable legal or ethical obligations

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with others—ever.

3. Confidentiality

As an ICF-accredited coach, I uphold strict confidentiality. What you share with me stays private, unless required by law or if there’s a concern for your safety or someone else’s. I adhere fully to the ICF Code of Ethics.

4. Data Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your data, including secure storage, password protection, and working only with trusted digital platforms. While no system is 100% foolproof, I aim to safeguard your privacy with care and diligence.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information I hold about you
• Ask for corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information
• Withdraw your consent for me to process your information
• Request deletion of your data, as long as it doesn’t conflict with legal or ethical obligations

6. YNAB Coaching Disclosure

I am a YNAB Certified Coach, which means I’ve been trained to coach individuals on the YNAB method and software. I’ve met YNAB’s certification requirements, but I am not an employee of YNAB. All non-YNAB opinions and recommendations are my own and do not reflect the views of YNAB or its affiliates.
